Here are my insights on how to deal with social media at work. It happened that I manage employees in a small business and it is really hard to manage them I've try different strategies to prevent employees to visit social media at work but I failed. Even I block it on their computer they try different ways to unblock it or even use their mobile phones. Then I come up with an internet usage policy that I will allow them to visit social media at work before or after work and during break time only. But I should constantly monitor their computer activities just to have an idea on how they use their computer at work.
ReplyDeleteUsing this strategy I limit them from spending too much time in social media than before and I notice that they are more productive than before.
I also realize that it is not wrong or bad to allow social media at work it is just one way of employee to relax, refresh, motivate and inspires for it can all give good performance to your company.
